What You Need to Know About the Performance

Doors open 1 hour before each performance.

Tickets: Please arrive with your print at home ticket or mobile ticket from TicketLeap (we can scan smartphones!), unless you made arrangements for the Will-Call desk. Tickets are emailed to you directly after your purchase, and they are re-sent to your purchase email one night ahead of your event (search "TicketLeap" in your inbox).

Seating is general, with no reservations, except media seats. But, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 647-367-8943 if you have any special seating requests or questions. Accessible seating is available, and the venue is wheel-chair friendly.

Rush Tickets: A limited amount of Rush tickets will be available each night of the performance, at the door. $35 cash only. Rush Tickets may be standing-room only. Line up early for these (as early as an hour prior to showtime) in the Rush Line outside the doors at 227 Front St. E., the entrance closest to Berkeley St.

Getting here by TTC: take the King Streetcar, or Sherbourne bus and then a short walk down to Front Street. Street parking is limited. Direct drop-offs in front of the building are available. There is no on-site parking, but there is street parking in front of the building. Parking for all events is just steps away at the GREEN P lot on Berkeley Street.

Photography: Feel free to take photos before, during and after the show, and tag #AtGBound @AtGtheatre on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook. No flash and no videos during the show!

#AtGBound is sung in English, with a new English libretto by Joel Ivany.

The performance is 1.5 hours with no intermission.

Betty's (240 King St E) is the un-official COC hangout joint, and it's just around the corner! Perfect place for unwinding after the performance.

ABOUT BOUND

This December 2017, Artistic Director Joel Ivany and Music Director Topher Mokrzewski collaborate with recent Victor Martyn Lynch-Staunton Award winner, composer Kevin Lau, to bring Handel’s music—which evokes themes of abandonment, neglect and betrayal—into the present.  In the wake of the world’s refugee crisis, this staged workshop will explore the current state of those displaced, dehumanized and mistreated, with texts and stories drawn from real-life news articles and world events. #AtGBound is the first workshop in a three-year “concept to realization” production, which launches this year. Sung in English. New English libretto by Joel Ivany.
